The Magic Of The Wine Train And Chilean Horses / Package

 

Day 1 Friday

Santiago / Historic Centre / Santiago.

Reception at airport in Santiago, and transfer to the hotel. In the afternooncCity Tour around Santiago, starting at the Cerro Santa Lucía (Santa Lucia Hill), where the city was founded in 1541. Afterwards visit to the Government Palace “La Moneda”, and Plaza de Armas, where we will see important national monuments such as the Catedral (Cathedral), Correo Central (Main Post Office), and the Municipalidad de Santiago (City Hall). The trips continues crossing the Mapocho River, and passing through different residential districts with an overview of the city, return to the hotel in Santiago. Overnight.

Day 2 Saturday

Santiago / Wine Train / Santa Cruz / Santiago.

Arrival at the departure point in Santiago. Transfer by bus to the San Fernando Train Station, from where the  Wine Train, built during the beginnings of the 20th century, will take us to the Colchagua Valley. During our journey we will enjoy Chilean music, a Chilean cocktail and the best wines of Colchagua Valley. Arrival at Santa Cruz, with the reception of a Chilean folklore group, dancing “Cueca” (national folklore dance). Visit to a vineyard. Lunch in Santa Cruz. Afterwards, visit to the Colchagua Museum, one the most important private museums in Chile. It has a large collection of insects, pre-Columbian items, religious objects, silver articles of mapuche people, carriages and farm machinery. Return and accommodation in Santiago.

Day 3 Sunday

Santiago / Casablanca Valley / Santiago.

Visit to Casablanca valley, where wine and Chilean horses are waiting for us. Departure to Casablanca Valley, over there we will have the opportunity to enjoy a vineyard and wine tasting. Afterward we will visit Puro Caballo, an equestrian center where we will have a Horse Show. Lunch in Puro Caballo. In the afternoon, return to Santiago. Accommodation in Santiago hotel.

Day 4 Monday

Santiago.

Transfer to the airport to board departure flight.
