Full Day Tour to Corcovado and Sugar Loaf

Duration: 8 hours

This is an excellent option to see the best of Rio if time is limited. In only one day you may visit Corcovado and Sugar Loaf. In the morning a visit to Christ Statue at Corcovado mountain taking the cog train through the luxuriant rain Forest. Enjoy the spectacular views of Rio and the surrounding countryside.
After the morning tour, relax and enjoy lunch at a seafood restaurant. In the afternoon, join he Sugar Loaf tour, driving by downtown Rio, with its fine colonial-style portuguese buildings, and continuing on to the cable car at Prai Vermelha ( red beach).
A ride to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain gives the visitor a wonderful view of the city nestling between the mountains and the sea, and the sight of the sun going down over Copacabana beach is magical. After riding down the cable car, our coach returns passengers to their hotels.

 
Half Day Tour to Corcovado

Duration: 04 hours

From any place of the city, the visitor can see the most beautiful postcard of Rio de Janeiro: Christ the Redeemer statue in the mountain of Corcovado, located at 710 meters above the sea level and inaugurated in 1931.

This tour begins in Cosme Velho's neighborhood from where the cog train starts a trip through the Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest in the world, up to the statue.

Once there, a panoramic and extraordinary view of Rio will be seeing including the Sugar Loaf, the Guanabara Bay, the beaches of Southern Zone and the Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon.
After the visit of the Corcovado, the tour will continue to São Conrado area with a brief stop at the Pepino beach from where you can appreciate the flight of the hang gliding .

 
Full Day Tour to Tropical Islands

The city of Itacuruçá, located 1 ½ hour away from Rio de Janeiro, in the district of Mangaratiba, has among the main activities the fishing, agriculture and tourism and has basically simple houses of fishermen. The Saveiro, name given to this typical boat that looks like a schooner, cruises the Sepetiba Bay, an area rich in natural beauty, where it is normal to spot a flora and fauna as dolphins, giant king-fisher, parrots, turtle and sting-rays. A stop is made for a swim and then the saveiro continues to the island of Itacuruça where a delicious lunch self-service buffet will be waiting for the visitors. There will be a time to explore the Island before returning to Itacuruça.
 
Half Day Historic Rio de Janeiro Tour

This is an unusual walking tour which gives the visitor a feeling for the legends and stories woven around the narrow streets and old historical buildings of downtown Rio.
The walk includes a visit to many interesting points, such as the São Bento Monastery, Candelaria (the candle-makers), Praça XV, the "Travessa do Mercado", Imperial Palace, the cultural centre located in the beautifully-restored Banco do Brasil, the Casa França-Brasil, Ouvidor (the listeners) Street and Gonçalves Dias Street with the traditional Colombo Coffee Shop.

This visit is made in two steps by cable car. The first cable car takes passengers to Urca Hill which is 215 meters high and from where one can have a beautiful view from the Guanabara Bay and its islands, the Rio-Niterói bridge and Corcovado hill. From this stage, a second cable car will be taken up to the top with 395 meters to find a splendid view from Copacabana beach, the Santa Cruz fortress and some beaches of Niterói. This tour begins with a city panoramic view through downtown Rio, passing by the Sambodrome, the Metropolitan Cathedral, in pyramid form, with internal diameter of 96 meters and height of 80 meters. Get to know the traditional Cinelândia square with the historical buildings, the Municipal Theater, the National Library and the National Museum of Fine Arts. By taking the Aterro do Flamengo, you will be taken to the neighborhood of Urca where it is located one of the largest symbols of the city: the Sugar Loaf. The stadium Mario Filho, globally known as Maracanã, was built in 1950, to shelter the World cup that took place in Brazil.
The largest Stadium in the World. Enjoy the electric atmosphere of a classic game with great flags and fireworks.

Rio by Night - Samba Show

Besides being the Wonderful city, Rio de Janeiro is also the champion of bohemian life. It is at the Plataforma 1 show, in this effervescent rhythm of Samba, that you will listen the most famous songs. It was inside of the cariocas' joints, with beat of forks and glasses or "batucadas " on match boxes that the most beautifull songs were written. So, seat and enjoy it.

 
Rio By Night, Barbecue Restaurant and Samba Show

Jeep Tour - Tijuca's Forest

PICK-UP TIME: 9:00AM and 2:00PM
In this tour, we visit the Tijuca Atlantic Forest, the largest urban forest in the world stopping at the Chinese View belvedere with a magnificent view of the Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, the Guanabara Bay and the Sugar Loaf.
Inside the forest, we stop at a beautiful waterfall for a refreshing bath and walk through a trail of easy tracking. During the tour, usually we can see tropical animals like monkeys, monkeys sloths and exotic birds.
On the way back to the hotel, we stop at the Pepino Beach to watch the hang gliders.

Jeep Tour - Corcovado and Tijuca's Forest

At the Corcovado Hill, located in the Tijuca Atlantic Forest, the largest urban forest in the world, is the statue of Christ the Redeemer, one of Rio's most famous postcards.
The Corcovado Hill, together with D.Marta belvedere, is a mandatory tour in Rio for the beauty of the sightseeing from both locations. From the Corcovado, we can see the beaches of Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon, the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon and the Botanical Garden. From the D. Marta belvedere, the main attractions are the Maracanã stadium, the Guanabara Bay and the Sugar Loaf.
This tour includes a small walk in a forest trail up to the Cascatinha Fall.
ROUTE: Pick-up in convertible Jeeps at the hotel - Cosme Velho street - stop at D.Marta belvedere - stop at Corcovado - Paineiras Road - stop at Afonso Viseu Square - walk throughout a trail up to the Cascatinha Fall - Canoas Road - Pepino Beach - return to the hotel.
