Day 1

Arrival and reception at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Mendoza is one of the largest wine regions in the world, with more than 1.500 wineries distributed in three areas: Luján de Cuyo, Uco Valley and Maipú. During the circuit we visit Luján de Cuyo and / or Maipú. To understand about the wine process, we visit two wine establishments that use traditional methods and the latest available technology. During the visit, the winery’s guide teaches us about fermentation, bottling and labeling methods. At the end of the tour, we taste some of the wines. The tour is complemented with a visit to an olive establishment, where we observe the process of making olive oil and then we taste the product.

Day 2

Day at leisure. If you are a landscape lover, we highly recommend you taking the High Mountain Tour, which allows you to admire the Mount Aconcagua, the highest peak in America. For those who wish to learn more about wine and be part of the process, we suggest taking a tour to Uco Valley where the vineyards grows at more than 1500 MASL. However, if what you want is to know Mendoza through the experimental we suggest you take a cooking class, participate in the harvest, prune or special tastings

Time at leisure. At agreed time, transfer to the airport.

Operational notes:

Day 1: The regular tour is available from Mondays to Saturdays in the afternoon. It requires an arrival flight before midday

Mendoza Optional Tours

City Tour.

Visit the most important and relevant points of the city such as the Foundational Area, the heart of the historic center of the Old City, the Civic Center, General San Martin Park and the monument of Cerro de la Gloria.

Duration: 4/5 hours

Argentine Sundays.

A tour during which we visit the Benegas winery, where we will taste its wines while learning about the history of this pioneering family in the wine production in the region. Our next stop will be at Foster Lorca winery, were we will feast on a complete Argentine barbecue.

High Mountain.

Tour of one of the most beautiful routes in Mendoza visiting the Uspallata Valley, Picheuta Historical Bridge, Penitentes, Las Cuevas, Christ the Redeemer (only from January to March), the Bridge of the Incas and the viewpoint of the imposing Mount Aconcagua.

Aconcagua Experience.

An experience that combines the traditional uphill High Mountain road with a visit to the Mt. Aconcagua Provincial Park, where we will walk to the Horcones Lagoon to get is a great view of Mt. Aconcagua, the highest peak in America.

Meals: Lunch

Maipú’s wines & flavours.

In the eastern outskirts of Mendoza city, Maipú takes us to the past, back to the origins of the winemaking beginnings in the region. During this tour, we will visit some of the wineries that gave birth to the wine tradition and that preserve even nowadays their family traditions. We will discover the stories behind the production of the wines while tasting them. As a perfect ending to the day, we will enjoy a lunch purposely designed for this tour.

Meals: 2 wine tastings, 1 olive oil tasting and a 3-courses lunch with wine.

Mendoza Wine and Olive.

Mendoza has excellent wineries in addition to an important olive oil industry. For that reason, with this tour we try to show and learn through large processors of these products located in the main crop area of Mendoza: Luján de Cuyo and Maipú. To do so, we visit an olive oil plant, where we make a tasting of oils and delicatessen products (such as olive paste, dehydrated tomatoes accompanied by homemade bread). The visit is completed with two wineries.
