Day 1

Santiago / Colchagua Valley / Santa Cruz.

Departure from Santiago to Valle de Colchagua, located in the heart of the country, it is one of the most fertile valleys in Chile. It is destined mainly to the production of fruit and wine. Arrival to Santa Cruz, known as the “huasa” zone of Chile. Visit to two wineries belonging to the Wine Trail of Colchagua, one of Chile’s most important wine circuits. Travellers visit the surroundings and taste wines. Lunch at Santa Cruz Plaza Hotel (place may change). Later on, an interesting visit to Museo de Colchagua, one of Chile’s most important and South America’s largest private museum. It has a complete collection of South American and Central Chilean history; and houses an interesting collection of pre-Columbian items and other devices from the 20th century. Return to hotel in Santa Cruz. Overnight.

Day 2

Santa Cruz / San José De Huique / Santiago.

Visit to one of the many wineries found in the Wine trail of Colchagua, wine tasting possible. Lunch at Santa Cruz Plaza Hotel (place may change). Visit to Museo de San José de Huique, 18th century hacienda with an invaluable collection of the Chilean history during the 18th century. Through this museum, visitors can get an idea of what a Chilean hacienda looked like. Interesting sights are the Church and religious art. Transfer to Santiago.
